Born in Kiruna in northern Sweden, Katarina now lives in Eskilstuna. She is a qualified journalist, but following a four-year stay in Dublin, Ireland, she changed career path and began reviewing and proofreading translations. On returning to Sweden, she was one of the first in the country to attain a Masters in Translation Studies at Stockholm University. When she was self-employed, Katarina worked with translations in such fields as the EU, finance, environment, technology and IT. She enjoys formulating headings that grab the attention of the reader and finding, and correcting, errors.
