In-house translator (Swedish to English)

Bugli is expanding, the number of satisfied customers and challenging assignments is growing and we need to strengthen our team.

We are looking to recruit an experienced in-house translator from Swedish to English. The position is full-time and based in our office in central Stockholm.

The Bugli Company is one of the longest established translation and communication specialists in Sweden.

We offer high-quality translations and language services in English and Swedish for companies, authorities and organizations in Sweden. Our specialist areas include economics and finance, law, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, construction and engineering. Our team comprises 11 in-house language professionals specializing in a wide range of fields to meet the needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities:
Translating documents (mainly financial texts) from Swedish to English, as well as editing.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Native English speaker with strong writing skills
  • Fluent in Swedish
  • Documented experience in the translation industry or relevant education
  • Comfortable working independently, and also in a team
  • Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines
  • Practical skills in Microsoft Office programmes (particularly Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with CAT tools is a merit
